When we aren’t self-confident, we struggle with perfectionism, fear of failure, imposter syndrome, wanting to be invisible, and lacking emotional resiliency. We live small safe lives minimizing risks and putting off goals.

The Journey

People often compare themselves to others and feel less than others. Beating yourself up and not following through on what you say you will. Being hard on yourself using harsh criticism.
Hug that side of yourself who thinks they have to be that way in life. Then embrace self-compassion.
Look forward to that version of yourself that has its own back and doesn’t feel the need to be perfect anymore. That lets the harsh negative self-talk go and embraces positive self-talk instead. The version of you that sets higher goals and is okay with feeling all the emotions life has to offer with no fear. That invites failure as an opportunity to grow and learn instead of a final ending.
